Hey folks! The phenomenal success of Dancing with the Stars TV show has helped in making the show popular not only in America but across the globe. It is a really great show that has crossed man made boundaries and united the world on a stage where passion for dance is all that matters.

It is a well known fact that like many other American shows, UK also airs its own version of Dancing with the Stars. So it was natural for the whole world to take notice, when one of the judges of the show was reported to be recovering form an operation for prostrate cancer.

65 year old ballroom dancer Len Goodman, who has been judging Dancing with the Stars UK version, was reported to have undergone surgery for getting the tumor removed, early this month. Although, Len became aware of his illness in March 2009, he delayed the surgery till he had finished shooting for the show, in May 2009.

This judge of Dancing with the Stars did not tell about his diagnosis to many people, because he felt that it was not necessary to blabber about it to one and all. He also revealed that he was able to postpone the surgery since the doctors had informed him that the tumor had not reached an advanced stage yet and that he was not facing a life-or-death scenario.

Len earned instant fame when he became the head judge of the UK version of Dancing with the Stars and since then he maintained his position as one of the most popular judges of the show.

An enthusiastic Len said that he felt that the biggest drawback of the surgery was that he had not been able to play golf. As for returning to Dancing with the Stars, Len said that he would surely be back in September.
