The co host of Tom Bergeron from the past eight seasons has decided to quit the show. I know this is disheartening news and it broke off your hearts in pieces, but do remember that nothing is forever in this world.

Even though the official announcement of the pairs that will be participating in the latest season of this reality show is to be made on 24th August, the names of the participating celebrities have already been revealed, thanks to the press and twitter.

If you are still wondering as to who will be competing in the forthcoming season of the world’s best reality dance show, Dancing with the Stars, you just need to go through this write up. As is usual for the show, the contests for this season are also a mix of early frontrunners, two left-footers, as well as some who are desperate to cry for attention.

The names of the contestants and whom they have been paired with, is just you are going to get next. Karina Smirnoff has been paired with Aaron Carter and her real life partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy is to train actress Debi Mazar. Dmitry Chaplin will be seen on the side of Mya while Ashley Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska will be seen as a pair.

And wait, the list is not complete as yet! The fact that Donny Osmond will have Kym Johnson as his dancing partner has already been revealed by Donny’s son. In addition, Natalie Coughlin also made it known through twitter that her dancing partner would be Alec Mazo. We will also get to see Tom DeLay and Cheryl Burke working as team.

There are no further details of any other pairings. However I can tell you which other celebrities will be seen fighting for that prestigious title. Hazard missing the new season of dance based US reality show, Dancing With The Stars only if you want to miss the chance of witnessing Ferrigno showing off his fancy foot work as a contestant on the show.

The bodybuilder-turned-actor originally auditioned for the show in 2007 if Life & Style magazine is to be trusted. He hit the news headlines again in June when after the death of Michael Jackson, it was revealed that Ferrigno was his personal trainer.

He says, “I had a good meeting with the producers for Dancing With the Stars, it was really positive, and they loved the idea of having me on the show.

Honestly guys, I did try to close my eyes and tried to imagine Ferrigno doing some mambo style salsa moves, but my imagination failed me completely. May be I am too stuck with the stereotypes to envision a tough guy like Ferrigno tapping his feet on the rhythm of the music. Whatever you say, but I am not going to miss the chance to see this hulk twirling on his toes.

He admitted, “I’ve never done that type of dancing before, so I know that I’ll have to train hard. I’m a glutton for punishment, so I’ll give it my best shot.”

Hey people! Our beloved Dancing with the Stars TV Show is all set to kick start its ninth season in a couple of months. And recently, one of the judges of the show has just stepped into the field of production. Well friends, I am talking about the very forthcoming and sweet dancer and choreographer Carrie Ann Inaba. It will be the first time that Carrie will be working for a Broadway play and I am sure that she will be enthralled to get this opportunity.

Reportedly, Carrie has joined the producers of the Broadway production named Burn The Floor. The show had been initially created as a special performance for Sir Elton John on his 50th birthday in 1997. The present version will basically be a Latin and ballroom dance spectacular and will start with the previews on July 25.

The show, which has been created, directed and choreographed by Jason Gilkison, will finally open on August 2 at the Longacre Theatre and will feature professionals from Dancing with the Stars. The cast will reportedly include 18 international award-winning dancers who as a group own more than 100 dance titles.

It is worthy mentioning here that Carrie is the only American judge on Dancing with the Stars TV show. Also, before donning the cap of a producer, she has directed the first ever touring version of Dancing with the Stars and has also worked as a choreographer for The TV Land Awards, The Kids Choice Awards, So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol, among others.

Commenting on her latest career decision, Carrie was reported to have said, “After over 20 years of experience with many talented artists in television and film, I’m thrilled to get my feet wet on Broadway with this wonderful production.” Well Carrie, we all are also hoping and praying for your success on Broadway!

To be frank with you guys I had always thought that this guy Steve-O and his partner had something missing in them and from the past two-three performances I was literally wishing that they would leave the stage of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. And, finally this week my wish came true, when Tom Bergeron announced that it was Steve-O and Lacey who would have to end their journey with Dancing with the Stars.

You must be thinking that why I was so against this couple, it was simply because I thought that they had less potential and that they are not the ones who should be enjoying the stage of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, when contestants with more potential have been eliminated. The other couple who had made it to the bottom two with Steve-O and Lacey was Ty Murray & Chelsie Hightower. Surprisingly everyone was heart broken that Ty and Chelsie had made it to the bottom two. No particular system was followed at the eliminations, as there was no dance-off, which happened for the second time this season. All the three judges wanted Ty and Chelsie back and that happened at the end as Steve-O and Lacey had to say goodbye for good.

I am sure that it must have been very hard for Steve-O to end his journey but then he left the stage smiling saying that he met a lot of challenges and made a lot of mistakes. He grew as a person, and is thankful for his fans. He says Lacey was patient with him, and that he tended to “man-struate.” With these words Steve-O left Dancing with the Stars.

With the results, another week comes to an end and it’s also a beginning for another one. Let’s see how things go for the remaining couples in their next performance.

Yes, another thrilling and exciting episode of the eighth season was aired on 24 March 2009. Round two was the fourth episode of the series ‘Dancing with the Stars‘, where once again the contestants had to perform their level best in order to impress the judges. All the contestants were given equal time to learn a new dance and then it was time for the famous personalities and their professional dance partners to perform in front of the audiences and the judges.

All good things come to an end and so did this. Soon it was time for the eliminations. The judges decided that it’s time for actress Denise Richards, and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, to end their journey on the ‘Dancing with the Stars’.

Well, I am sure that fans of Denise must have been a bit upset over the fact that Denise will have to leave the show so early. But the same could not be said about the same. All the fans who have been following ‘Dancing with the Stars’ from the very beginning must be aware of the fact that Denise was never comfortable with her professional partner. So is the actress relieved that now she will not have to put up with Maks any longer?

Anyways, I guess the actress thought it was best not to keep any grudges against Maks, at least now that their journey has come to an end. After being voted out the actress said that she loved her partner. “He’s a very tough teacher, he was working with someone who had absolutely no dance experience, so I’m sure at times, it’s gotta be hard for the pros to work with celebrities who don’t have any dancing background. But I had fun with him. He had a very funny side that a lot of people don’t get to see. This is his world and he’s a much disciplined dancer and I give him a lot of credit.”

Though, the actress has become all the more famous after becoming a part of the show ‘Dancing with the Stars’, but she is known and loved for her earlier work. We have seen her in movies like ‘Wild Things’, and ‘The World Is Not Enough’. Besides she also made guest appearances in shows like ‘Married… with Children‘, ‘Seinfeld‘, ‘Friends‘ and ‘Two and a Half Men’. Currently the actress is doing her own reality TV show, ‘Denise Richards: It’s Complicated’.
