Bruno has worked hard in order to be at the position that he is enjoying today. Bruno was born to Werther, a bus driver, and Fulvia, a seamstress. Bruno started out his career as a dancer and was quite popular and favorite of his students in the 80’s. He was a leading dance teacher at London’s acclaimed Dance Centre. Soon he left dancing and decided to become a choreographer. He was the choreographer of movies like “Ella Enchanted,” “What a Girl Wants,” “Enigma” and “Blow Dry.”
Bruno has worked in a number of music videos. His credit in music videos includes works in Sheena Easton’s “Giving Up, Giving In,” Wycliffe & Bono’s “New Day United Nations Video for Kosovo,” Elton John’s “Please,” Sting’s “This Cowboy Song,” Michael Jackson’s “Give in to Me,” Tina Turner’s “Steamy Windows,” The Rolling Stones’ “One Hit,” Paul McCartney’s “Hope of Deliverance”, just to name a few. He also appeared in Elton John’s “I’m Still Standing” video.
Coming down to his television journey, he became famous after becoming a judge on the British television series “Strictly Come Dancing” and its American adaptation, “Dancing with the Stars“. He is still a judge on “Dancing with the Stars” and the series is currently running into its eighth season. Bruno was also a judge on the BBC talent show “DanceX”. He also starred on the ABC show “Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann”, where his team won the competition.
Besides dancing, Bruno has also worked on television and has done theater too. Bruno has also been a part of a number of concerts that include Tina Turner’s “Foreign Affairs” and Duran Duran’s “World Tour”.
