Yes, it’s back once again with yet another rocking season to make all of you dance along with the contestants. ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ premiered with its eighth season on March 9th, 2009. To kick start the season a two hour premiere was prepared for the audience.

All the contestants then had to give their first performance on stage, though none of the contestants were to be eliminated this week, as this was the introductory performance. The second episode of the eighth season was aired on 16 March 2009; once again the contestants had to perform, but this time they had to be more careful as eliminations were going to take place. After the contestants had given their performance, their scores from both the performances were combined together after which the contestant with least scores had to leave the show. The first couple which got eliminated from the show was Belinda Carlile & Jonathan Roberts.

But I had fun with him. He had a very funny side that a lot of people don’t get to see. This is his world and he’s a much disciplined dancer and I give him a lot of credit.”
